Support Applications

Support Applications can be sent to the office (the address can be found under Contact, no specific form required). The following information must be included:

• Letter of Application (signed by the Head of the applying institution)

• Project Description (about 1 page, legal size)

• Budget Plan (amount of the requested sum and a list of planned expenses)

• Information regarding other project financing (new or existing)

• Project Schedule

• Description of the (World Heritage) site (about 1 page, legal size)

• at least 10 good quality pictures of the site (preferably on CD, high resolution - at least 1 MB) including a list with caption, year when the photo was taken and name of the photographer for each photo

The German World Heritage Foundation can only support projects that concern sites already included on the UNESCO World Heritage list or sites that are the subject of an imminent World Heritage nomination. In the latter case the Support Application to the German World Heritage Foundation must include a statement concerning the imminent posting of the nomination and the date of this action.
